Habitat and Description: Open woodland of Pinus taeda, Quercus marilandica, Q. stellata, Q. incana, Carya texana and Schizachyrium-dominated openings, Calvert Bluff Formation/ poss. lower Carrizo. Population concentrated in bare areas under Pine trees; lower phyllaries yellow to salmon, or lilac, upper cream, lavender, lilac or mauve.
