Habitat and Description: Locally common in moist silty alluvium in partially shaded opening in riparian woodland, on seep/drainage near waterfall. Associates include Acer negundo, Ruellia brittoniana, Verbena brasiliensis, Justicia americana, Andropogon glomeratus, Eupatorium serotinum.
