Perennial; kind of plant a suffrutescent herb, occuring in alkaline situations; in salty ground; soil clay; flower solitary; color yellow rays; month Apr.; leaves oblong, spatulate, broad linear, serrate or entire; fruit covered with stout bristles; bark pale; roots perennial. Abundant. Forming large colonies.
