Locality: United States, Texas, Hidalgo, 17 miles N. of Edinburg on side of Highway No. 96. Elev. 25 m.
Habitat and Description: Habit a low erect, branched from base herb; habitat open fields; annual; soil sandy-loam; flowers solitary, terminal; color yellow rays; month April-May; leaves mostly basal or from below, crowded. Only a few plants seen, it is probably an early Spring herb.
