Habitat and Description:
Annual; kind of plant a low erect herb much branched at base, with long naked inflorescense; soil sand; color yellow blotched with maroon; month Mar.; leaves basal on long petioles, upper alternate; oval-ovate to oblong lanceolate. Abundant in the sandy region of Willacy and Hidalgo Cos.
