Habitat and Description: Locally common in sandy loam over Willis Formation (Pleistocene) on occasionally mown grassy roadside through upland post oak savanna. Population continues southwestward discontinuously (toward Frelsburg) for 2.0 miles. Absent from adjacent heavily grazed pastures but common in some brushy post oak woodlands that are either not or perhaps are only lightly grazed.
