Habitat and Description: Locally common in moist clayey loam on mechanically disturbed, unshaded creek terrace. Associates include Ambrosia trifida, Centaurea melitensis, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Euphorbia spathulata, Verbena halei, Phacelia congesta, Pyrrhopappus sp., Torilis arvensis.
