Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, Unit 2, ca. 1 mi. S of sign "Impoundment No. 1.". Elev. 10 ft.
Habitat and Description: Roadside bank, ca. 15 m. from Laguna. Gray, fine sand. Borrichia sp.- Celtis spin. complex. Perennial herb, 20-35 cm. Bushy upright, each large individual making a dense clump. Yellow-orange ray petals, brown disk corollas, flower with very mild resinous odor.
