Habitat and Description: Perennial, distributed throughout the valley, scandant or prostrate vine, branching and spreading. In waste grounds, sandy soil. Flower showy, white. Leaves ovate-oblong-elliptic, serrate, pubescent. Fruit an edible berry. Bark brownish, roots woody. A species of the dewberry common in this region.
