Habitat and Description: Annual stems, perennial roots; a radially spreading herb with appressed hairs and odd pinnate leaves. Sandy flats, soil: sand. Flowers showy, salmon-purple. Leaves pinnate, leaflets sessile, oblong. Fruit a sub-terete beaked pod. Roots deep-seated, perennial. Frequent. Only a few plants seen.
