Associates include Aristida desmantha, Brazoria pulcherrima, Cyperus grayioides, Croton argyranthemus, Hymenopappus carrizoanus, Lithospermum carolinense, Loeflingia squarrosa, Rhododon ciliatus, Thelesperma flavodiscum, Streptanthus hyacinthoides, Selaginella riddellii, and Krameria lanceolata.
