Habitat and Description:
Distributed in Cameron County, perennial with leaf stalks rising direct from the creeping root stalks in sandy soil. Flowers acaulescent, yellowish, leaves smooth, glossy, orbicular, peltate, 4-5 cm broad. Roots creeping, slender. Abundant in yards in the city of Brownsville.
