Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist sandy to silty alluvium exposed during drought in shaded bed of intermittent creek. Associates include Allium canadense, Boehmeria cylindrica, Carex crus-corvi, Carex cherokeensis, Carex frankii, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Chasmanthium latifolium, Cynosciadium digitatum, Elymus virginicus, Juncus coriaceus, Mikania scandens, Penthorum sedoides, Rudbeckia amplexicaulis, Sanicula canadensis.
