Habitat and Description:
Distributed in S Texas, an erect branched annual herb in open grounds in sandy situations, soil sand-loam. Flowers terminal on the short branches, purple; leaves alternate, rather crowded, oblong-linear. Fruit a conical or oblong capsule 3 mm long. Only one plant seen, but probably scattered along the Arroya bank.
