Habitat and Description:
Distributed throughout the valley, perennial small zigzag shrub scattered sparingly in thickets in clay soils in dry situations. Flowers small, white; leaves spathulate linear. Fruit red, globose, juicy. Not abundant in any locality, but well-distributed in well-drained soils.
