Habitat and Description:
Known from Willacy & Kenedy Counties, erect annual herb with perennial roots, on open ground and fields and sandy loam soil. Flowers axillary, dark center, yellow, odorless. Leaves oblong, acute, entire, pubescent. Fruit a globose berry, bark green, roots spread and run. Frequent in small colonies in the sandy region of Kenedy and Willacy counties.
