Habitat and Description:
Habit: slender tufted grass, erect. Habitat: open fields, waste grounds. Soil: sandy-clay. Flowers: terminal loose panicle. Color: reddish-purple. Leaves: rather short and narrow, pointed, thin. The plant is not abundant but well distributed in open fields.
