Habitat and Description:
Habit: a tall, erect grass. Habitat: in semi-moist grounds at the edge of thickets. Annual. Soil: sandy. Flowers: terminal, paniculate. Color: greenish. Leaves: are long linear-lanceolate, acuminate. Rather rare in this region but scattered near the Rio Grande.
