Habitat and Description: Habit: erect grass in large tufts. Habitat: open sandy fields. Annual. Soil: sand. Flowers: racemes from the summit. Color: cream with reddish tints. Leaves: many from base, blue green color. Roots: perennial. Very abundant. It also occurs on Brazos Santiago. Flowers in late autumn.
