Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, ca. 0.3 mi. S of entrance to Unit 1, ca. 0.5 mi. E of refuge boundary. Elev. 10 ft.
Habitat and Description: Open scrub at roadside. 3-5 cm. buff sand over dark brown clay. Prosopis sp.-Zizyphus sp.-Opuntia lindh. complex. Annual herb, 15-25 cm. Somewhat sprawling bushy to weakly bushy upright. Yellow ray and disk corollas; flower has honey sweet odor.
