Habitat and Description: Undulating native prairie. Main tract, partly inundated bottomland pasture N of Chastain (and Webster) house; Houston Black & Heiden clays on slopes, Tinn clay in bottom. Scattered red in pasture on lower slopes. Bracts magenta; cor. pink to deep pink.
