Habitat and Description: Limestone outcrops in brushland. Geology: Goliad Formation (Pliocene). Soils: Parrita-Olmos Association (Petrocalcic Paleustolls and Calciustolls). Common shrubs include Acacia berlandieri, A. rigidula, Berberis trifoliolata, Bernardia myricaefolia, Colubrina texensis, Diospyros texana, and Sophora secundiflora. Herbaceous associates include Astragalus nuttallianus, Carex planostachys, Calylophus drummondianus, Galium texense, Hymenoxys turneri, Lithospermum incisum, L, mirabile, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Polygala alba, and Thamnosma texana.
