Habitat and Description: Xeric thorn scrub on limestone outcrops. Geology: Goliad Formation (Pliocene). Soils: Pettus (Typic Calciustolls). Common shrubs include Acacia berlandieri and A. rigidula. Herbaceous associates include Allium drummondii, Astragalus nuttallianus, Carex planostachys, Chaptalia nutans, Dyssodia pentachaeta, Evolvulus sericeus, Perezia runcinata, Pinaropappus roseus, Phyllanthus polygonoides, and Thamnosma texana.
