Habitat and Description:
On side of highway. Erect annual herb with perennial roots.. On open ground. Pale bark. Leaves pale beneath, dark above, sessile, acute. Flowers terminal spikes, cream, without odor. Composite. Sandy soil. Fruit dispersed by wind. Rare in this region. Known from near Port Brownsville and Yturria.
