Habitat and Description: Rare in grassland dominated by Bothriochloa saccharoides, in deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline, saline clay loam Ustollic Camborthids (Point Isabel Series), on nearly level lower slope of Pleistocene clay dune (loma).
