Habitat and Description: Distribution throughout South Texas. Erect branched herb. Open grounds and fields. Annual. Leaves alternate, sessile, oblong-lanceolate, hispid. Flowers on terminal panicules. Yellow. Soil sand. Scattered throughout the sandy region of Willacy Co. The lower leaves are larger than those above.
