Habitat and Description: A suffrutescent herb. Open grounds, dry situations. Perennial. Roots woody. Bark pale. Leaves are linear, rather leafy on the upper branches. Flowers are corymbose, showy with faint odor. Yellow. Flowering in Oct.-Nov. It occurs in colonies in dry clay ground, in Cameron County.
