Locality: United States, Texas, Willacy, H. Yturria Ranch, at ranch house. Elev. 8 m.
Habitat and Description: Known from S Texas, an erect tufted herb on moist or wet ground, annual, clay soil. Flowers are in a compact cluster, cream-whitish, odorless. Almost leafless, stems slender, tufted. Fruit in a compact termianl head, bark green, roots fibrous. Occasinal in its preferred habitat, in colonies, stems slender, but mostly erect.
