Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Resaca de los negros, near Port Brownsville. Elev. 8 m.
Habitat and Description: Known from Cameron County, an erect herb in colonies, wet or moist grounds, clay soil, annual with perennial roots. Flowers are terminal clusters, cream, odorless. No leaves. Fruit a compact conical cluster, bark green, roots annual. Occasional in small or large colonies, in moist or wet clay grounds.
