Habitat and Description: Locally common, ca. 50 shrubs, in disturbed (recently bulldozed?) moderately alkaline, somewhat saline silt loam (Balmorhea association) on upper part of alluvial flat. Associates include Sporobolus airoides, Distichlis spicata, Baccharis sp.
