Locality: United States, Texas, San Patricio, Welder Wildlife Foundation, N of Sinton. Hackberry Mott, 0.2 mi. N from place where south loop of river road bends west, ca. 6 m. above and 40 m. back from Aransas River. Elev. 45 ft.
Habitat and Description: Pathside in open woods along river. Hard gray silt. Celtis ret.-Celtis laev.-Ehretia sp. complex. Tree, 6 m. Basal diam., 15 cm. Crown diam., 4.5 m. Sparingly, rather irregularly branched, except ultimate branches dense. Bark gray-brown, vertically fissured, ridged. Leaves glossy dark green, rough to touch. Fruit shiny, yellow-green.
