Habitat and Description: Locally frequent in grazed bluestem - lovegrass grassland dotted with mesquite, on gray fine sand or loamy fine sand on level landscape of South Texas Holocene Sand Sheet. Occasional to locally frequent throughout ranch; most plants in early flower on this date.
