Habitat and Description: Habit: a low diffuse herb. Habitat: gravel and clay hills. Annual. Soil: clay. Flowers: terminal, solitary. Color: white rays, yellow disk. Month: June-May. Leaves: opposite, sessile or subsessile, pinnatifid. Abundant on the gravel hills in Starr County.
