Habitat and Description: Locally common, several hundred plants noted, in pecan woodland on alluvial terrace and in willow strip on creekbank. Associates include Carya illinoinensis, Salix nigra, Ulmus crassifolia, Sambucus canadensis, Chasmanthium latifolium, Verbesina virginica.
