Habitat and Description: Occasional in red sandy clay loam in mown shortgrass grassland dominated by Buchloe dactyloides and Aristida purpurea, on level treeless upland between two parallel antenna arrays. Other associates include Allium drummondii, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Castilleja purpurea var. citrina, Erigeron strigosus, Hordeum pusillum, Hymenoxys linearifolia, Krameria lanceolata, Machaeranthera australis, Oenothera speciosa, Schedonnardus paniculatus, Scutellaria drummondii, Sisyrin-chium scabrum, Sphaeralcea coccinea, Stipa leucotricha, Teu-crium laciniatum, Thelesperma filifolium, Tradescantia occidentalis.
