Locality: United States, Texas, Webb, 11 mi. W of Encinal on Texas 44.
Habitat and Description: Very common, erect shrub, 76 cm. tall. Vast flat stretches of desert on fine sandy red clay soil. Microphyll desert, Acacia spp., Opuntia spp., Prosopis, many spiny shrubs, with Aristida and Bouteloua spp. Roadside, similar to A, but many more weeds.
