Locality: United States, Texas, San Patricio, Welder Wildlife Foundation, N of Sinton. 150 m. E of house at Moody's Camp. Elev. 35 ft.
Habitat and Description: Small thicket at roadside, on small, stream-cut valley slope. Gray-tan clayey sandy silt. Prosopis jul.-Acacia farnes. complex. Fruticose perennial herb, 30-40 cm. Suckering profusely from woody base, forming clumps. Flower: yellow orange ray and disk corollas, black staminal tubes in disk florets, resinous odor.
