Locality: United States, Texas, Harris, In coastal prairie/water oak woodland mosaic, ca. 300-500 ft. N of Clay Road from a point ca. 1.1 roadmiles E of St. Rt. 6, just W of Langham Creek, within Addicks Training Area (Texas Natural Guard lease from Army Corps of Engineers). Addicks Quadrangle. Elev. 100 - 105 ft.
Habitat and Description: Common. In neutral to moderately alkaline, dark gray, loamy Typic Ochraqualfs (Clodine Series). Associates include Iva angustifolia, Iva annua, Schizachyrium scoparium, Cacalia lanceolata, Sorghastrum nutans, Gaura lindheimeri, Sesbania vesicaria, Tridens strictus, Heterotheca pilosa, Agalinis heterophylla, Spartina spartinae, Croton capitatus, Paspalum floridanum.
