Locality: United States, Texas, Brown, 100 ft. SW of county road (SE extension of F. M. 2524), 3.2 roadmiles SE of jct. F. M. 2524 and F. M. 2126. Camp Bowie Training Site (Texas National Guard). Brownwood Quadrangle. Elev. 1290 ft.
Habitat and Description: Common in wet sandy soil along unshaded creek heavily utilized by cattle, in broad valley invaded by mesquite. Associates include Carex brittoniana, Cyperus acuminatus, Eleocharis palustris, Elymus virginicus, Juncus cf. dudleyi, Iva annua, Ludwigia peploides, Panicum obtusum, Tridens albescens.
