Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Soutmost Ranch; N side of bisecting dam across E arm of resaca just E of farm HQ, ca. 1.5 airmiles SE of jct. Southmost Rd. (F. M. 1414) and Indiana Ave. Southmost Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 15 ft.
Habitat and Description: Occassional in moist alluvial clay along margin of drying resaca bottom. Rays yellow, about as long as young heads. Associates include Arundo donax, Phragmites australis, Salix nigra, Vigna luteola, Mikania scandens.
