S of N perimeter fence, ca. 1.4 airmiles SW of jct. US Rt. 271 and F. M. 906 at Midcity. Camp Maxey Training Site (Texas Army National Guard). Pat Mayse Lake East Quadrangle. Elev. 490 - 500 ft.

Habitat and Description: Locally abundant in moist sandy to clayey alluvium in shaded bed of intermittent stream through pine-oak forest. Geology: Eagle Ford Formation (Cretaceous). Soils: deep, well drained, medium acid, fine sandy loam Glossic Paleudalfs (Whakana Series).
