Habitat and Description: Locally common on solution-pitted Devils River limestone (Cretaceous) on vertical cliff faces, open rocky top. Associates include Arenaria benthamii, Notholaena parvifolia, Buddleja racemosa, Acalypha hederacea and an odd Hedyotis sp. (18273).
