Habitat and Description: "Victoria" sandy loam soils area. Receptacle sub-globose; ray florets c. 6, disk florets c. 16; ligules white, disk yellow; ligules crisped when dry; floret tubes glandular-pubescent; rays fertile; achenes dark brown, narrowly rhombic in x-section, sparsely appressed pubescent on sides, the 2 sharp edges bordered by narrow cartilaginous flange bearing dense white antrorse cilia and each topped by a long seta (the 2 setae being the pappus). Top of achene with a crown of short erect white cilia (pappus or pubescence?).
