Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, ca. 100 m. S of gate to Unit 1, ca. 0.5 mi. E of refuge boundary. Elev. 10 ft.
Habitat and Description: Open to dense scrub; very spiny shrubs prevail. Brown silty sand, somewhat loamy. Prosopis sp.-Opuntia sp. complex. Annual herb, 30-50 cm. Very straggly upright, in masses among cactuses. White ray corollas, yellow disk corollas. Flowers have resinous odor of whole plant.
