Locality: United States, Texas, Jeff Davis, Davis Mountains State Park (elev. 4500 feet to 5600 feet), two miles west of Fort Davis. Elev. ca. 5500 ft.
Habitat and Description: Rocky soil derived from igneous rocks. Desert scrub-grassland, scattered Emory and gray oaks and juniper (monosperma). Found at varying elev. in park growing only on igneous outcrops.
