Locality: United States, Texas, Brewster, Lower canyons of the Rio Grande. At Asa Jones' & in crevices in Waterworks Canyon (at Asa Jones').
Habitat and Description: Low, rounded, succulent herb to 2 dm. becoming woody toward the base. Locally common at Asa Jones' on sandy alluvium (over gravels) & in crevices in limestone. Rays, flowers bright yellow.
