Habitat and Description: Annual. Erect, smooth, glaucous simple or branched near summit. At the edge of thickets. Soil: rich black. Flower: composite. Color: purplish yellowish. Month: April. Open: A.M. Close: Noon. Leaves: alternate, clasping, smooth, lobed. Only a few plants seen. Rare in this region.
