Habitat and Description: Occasional among colonies of Eleocharis rostellata on moist silt and limestone gravel on unshaded, frequently flood-scoured banks of Independence Creek. Other associates include Andropogon glomeratus, Bacopa monnieri, Cyperus elegans, Lythrum ovalifolium, Muhlenbergia asperifolia, Paspalum distichum, Petunia parviflora, Staria sp., Scirpus pungens.
