Habitat and Description: Occasional in Pinus ponderosa - Quercus hypoleucoides woodland on steep igneous slopes in header of mesic high-elevation canyon, vicinity of Tobe Springs in upper Madera Canyon. Herbaceous assc. incl. Brickella brachyphylla var. hinckleyi, Campanula rotundifolia, Euphorbia bifurcata, Geranium cespitosum, Heuchera rubescens, Lithospermum multiflorum, Monarda fistulosa var. menthifolia, Panicum bulbosum, Penstemon barbatus, Piptochaetium fimbriatum, Polemonium pauciflorum ssp. hinckleyi, Salvia arizonica, Sicyos sp., Silene laciniata, Solanum fendleri, Stellaria cuspidata, Thalictrum fendleri, Verbesina oreophila.
