Habitat and Description:
Stems prostrate, common in unshaded bed of mown sendero through mesquite woodland/shrubland on deep, well-drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline fine sandy loam (Willamar Series) on gently undulating landscape of Holocene sand sheet over Goliad Formation.
